Science-Backed Longevity and Anti-Aging Research

The world's top labs have already figured out a lot about how to slow aging. The gap is translation. We close it, and we link every source.

How to Calm Down in Five Minutes a Day and Lift Your Mood

One breathing pattern lifted people's mood more than meditation did over a month, and one minute of it lowered anxiety in a genuinely stressful moment. What nobody has shown is that any technique calms you faster than another. Including the safety warning almost no article gives you.

Does Taurine Slow Aging? The Trial That Would Settle It Already Finished

A cheap amino acid made mice live longer, and the researchers themselves ended their paper by asking for human trials. Those trials have now been run. One finished in November 2025, at one of the labs that wrote the original paper, and its results have not been published.

Does When You Eat Matter More Than What You Eat?

No, what you eat still wins. But the honest answer is more useful than either slogan: for weight the clock does almost nothing on its own, for blood sugar and blood pressure it may do something real, and there is one cost most articles skip.

How Do You Actually Keep Your Brain Sharp?

Nothing is proven to prevent dementia. But 25 years of following nearly 8,000 people points at two dull habits, a 39-year Finnish study found the sauna advice everyone repeats has a temperature limit nobody mentions, and the one thing here with a real randomised trial behind it is the one nobody talks about.

Cold showers are sold on aging, brown fat and inflammation. Those are the three claims that did not survive the trials. What is left is smaller, cheaper and more useful than the promise, and it takes thirty seconds.

Your Body Has Two Ages. Can You Really Measure the Second One?

You have two ages, and only one is on your licence. The second one is real, but the test that claims to read it disagrees with itself by years, and every famous study that 'reversed' it was paid for by someone selling something. Here is the honest scoreboard.

NMN and David Sinclair: Does the Anti-Aging Supplement Actually Work?

NMN raises NAD+, and that part is settled. What it has not done yet is change anything you would notice. Here is how to pick a bottle that actually contains what the label says, how to take it, and what the 2026 research changed.

A weight-loss drug that turns back the clock? One small 2026 trial found semaglutide slowed DNA aging markers, but the researchers call it a signal, not proof. Here is the honest science on GLP-1 drugs and aging.

Why This Exists

Anima Cosmi is a longevity and wellness research site, run from France by Roy Sañudo S. We only publish what three or more independent renowned labs and universities agree on, we condense the key takeaways, link every source we use, and first, we test the products on ourselves before we recommend them to you.

Anima Cosmi means the soul of the universe.

A long life is about 5,000 weeks.

That is fewer than it sounds.

Ninety-five years, counted out. If you are already in your mid-forties, only about 2,600 weeks are left. Live them as the person you have it in you to be. We are here to help.

You feel it before any test can measure it. The recovery that takes a day longer. The sleep that stopped being enough. The weeks that blur at a pace you never chose, the quiet sense of living on autopilot instead of on what matters. Most people wait until something breaks, in the body or in the life, before they look. By then it is harder to undo.

The good news is that how long you live and how fully you live can both change. They are skills, and skills can be learned. And you do not have to guess which ones work: when independent labs keep reaching the same conclusion, that is the signal worth trusting. Your biology is not your destiny, and neither is your routine. Both answer to what you do.

You are more capable than you think. Most of us stop long before our real limit.

Here is the invitation: live longer, and live like it matters.

Roy Sañudo S.

Founder of Anima Cosmi · Longevity Research Curator

I'm Roy, and I built Anima Cosmi to share what I wish I'd understood sooner: a long life and a life that feels like yours are built the same way, on purpose.

How I work

For the mind and the body, I refuse to guess. I share only what holds up under real research from labs like Harvard, Oxford, and Stanford, among others. I'm not a doctor and not a guru, just a curious person who reads carefully and tests things on himself first. For the soul and the spirit, I speak from my own practice, from meditation, gratitude, and a deep connection with all beings, never as science.

How I got here

I grew up close to nature. Then came years of studying, working, and traveling across Latin America and Europe, and somewhere in the rush I lost myself. Quietly, not all at once.

A few years ago I found my way back, through the rhythms I'd drifted from: time in nature, daily movement, and cold water. The one I never let go of was meditation. I felt grounded again.

Read how I live

A longer life is the start. A life lived in tune with who you really are is the point.

You are a mind, a body, a soul, and a spirit. You feel most alive when the four are in balance.

The path

Connect

Reach out first. To nature, to the people near you, to something bigger than your own week.

Embrace

Take yourself as you are today, the good parts and the ones you would rather skip. For me, nothing changed before that.

Awaken

Start noticing. Your own body, your own weeks, the way an ordinary day actually feels.

Become

Keep showing up. You slowly turn into the person you already are underneath. It is slow, and that is the honest part.

What I believe

I believe there is a living layer around us, organized by love and information, data, feelings and everything true we have ever understood (or not). It's universal, accessible, and keeps expanding. It requires us to grow in consciousness. We are walking that way, becoming more conscious of its existence, and we just need to become more aware of it.

What keeps me grounded

MeditationCold ShowersSuperfoodsLong-Distance HikingNature ImmersionMobilityWriting

"We are spiritual beings . . . human for a little while, and always reaching for the whole."

Adapted from Wayne Dyer

The universe was already thinking before we got here.

Our part is to continue growing and evolving in both, in matter and in spirit.

Products

Most products don't make the cut. Two are in testing right now.

We test longevity products against the same research we publish, and report what we find, the wins and the letdowns. Only what earns it gets a review.
